Gilroy Kernan & Gilroy Named Best Practices Agency for 19th Consecutive Year

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (Sept. 1, 2025) — For the 19th consecutive year, Gilroy Kernan & Gilroy, Inc. (GKG) has been named a 2025 Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) and Reagan Consulting.

This designation recognizes GKG’s exceptional business operations, including its outstanding customer retention, organic growth, stability, and financial management. GKG was one of 13 New York-based agencies selected this year.

In 2025, 1,146 independent agencies across the U.S. were nominated, and just 348 agencies qualified for the honor. To be chosen, the agency’s data was analyzed and determined to be among the 35-45 top-performing agencies in one of seven revenue categories.
