New Hartford, NY, October 17, 2019– Gilroy Kernan & Gilroy Inc. (GKG) of New Hartford, New York has announced an expansion of its professional team with Lawrence T. Gilroy IV (Tom) joining as Strategic Business Advisor. Gilroy marks the fourth generation to join the firm, founded in 1904.
In the role, Gilroy will work with a broad spectrum of businesses in the Central New York and NY Metro markets to address their overall exposure to risk with a targeted focus on expanding the firm’s focus on succession, estate and executive planning.
Prior to joining the GKG team, Gilroy held the positions at BNY Mellon and HSBC most recently serving as a Vice President within the Global Banking and Markets Division.
Gilroy is a graduate of the University of Rochester. Born and raised in New Hartford, NY, he currently resides in New York City.
